The Classic EZX was produced by Peter Henderson (Paul McCartney, Rush, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck, Tina Turner, Ringo Starr) and Chris Rittenom (Edie Brickell, The Waterboys, Paul McCartney).
Company Toontrack decided to please us with a new set of drums - The Classic EZX. Developer addon problem was to combine the sounds of past and present technologies in order to recreate the famous sound of the 70's. Thus, we managed to create the necessary clarity of modern recording, together with the spirit of the past years. The classic console for recording Helios, is still the best, recreated for that famous sense. Presented by the addition three types of drum kits - Yamaha, Noble & Cooley and Craviotto. Record of samples has been made in two different settings - in one variant of a multi-microphone recording, and the second version, using only 4 microphones, as in classical recordings 70th. Added new midi patterns to create a shock in the spirit of the time. Addition works with the version of EZ Drummer 1.2 or with Superior Drummer 2.1 and above.

The Unique Mic Setup
Two interfaces and two EZX's in one! The Classic was recorded using two different setups; one contemporary multi microphone and one with only four microphones, a so called "4 mic setup". This setup is what helped shape the unique and organic production on many big albums of the 1970's - a sound that is making an evident resurgence in the music at the top of the charts of today.
The MIDI
The Classic EZX ® comes with two extensive libraries, played by Peter Fredlander as well as Chris Whitten himself. Peter's library is organized as different songs with variations of 4-8 bar building blocks. Each song also features a Jamtrack of the full song from start to finish. In Chris's library, he's laying down his patented groove by revisiting some of the greatest hits of his stunning recording and touring history
