ESET Offline Updater allows updating any ESET product offline, on any Windows platform (XP/2000/Vista/7 - 32/64bit) by installing a full signature database update into any location.

ESET doesn't make definitions available from the web. Only licensed Business Editions of ESET products allow the user to create copies of update files which can be used to update other workstations located in the network. This installer was created using the current copy of update files located within a local folder ('mirror'). The update files are original and unmodified ones, obtained directly from ESET update servers. The installer only expands the update files into the folder specified by the user (default is C:\Update) and does not modify user's Windows registry by any means.

The installer can be used to update any version of ESET NOD32 / Smart Security v3.0, v4.0 on machines running Windows XP/2000/Vista/7 (32bit and 64bit).
When installation has completed, the update source - referred to by ESET as 'update server' - should be properly set within the ESET configuration panel prior to updating the software (please refer to ESET Help file). The product can then be updated offline from ESET tray icon (right-click --> Update).

The definitions can be used to update a product locally, or - more likely - ported to another computer that needs updating and is not connected to the internet.

বন্ধুরা ফেসবুকে প্রচারণা চালিয়ে ২০ হাজার পাউন্ড তুলেছেন। সেই অর্থ দিয়ে বিয়ে করেছেন প্রেমিকজুটি এমা কলিনস ও শন পারসনস। যুক্তরাজ্যের কায়েরফিলি কাউন্টির বাসিন্দা এমা ও শন ১৪ বছর ধরে প্রেম করছিলেন। কিন্তু অর্থের অভাবে তাঁরা বিয়ে করতে পারছিলেন না। এমা একজন শিক্ষিকা এবং শন একজন ট্রাকচালক। এমার দীর্ঘদিনের স্বপ্ন, তাঁর বিয়েটা হবে জাঁকজমকভাবে।

সিডি ডিভিডি ড্রাইভ নিষ্ক্রিয় রাখুন

কম্পিউটারের সিডি ও ডিভিডি-রম ড্রাইভকে প্রয়োজনে নিষ্ক্রিয় করে রাখা যায়।এজন্য উইন্ডোজ অপারেটিং সিস্টেমে মাই কম্পিউটারে ডান ক্লিক করে প্রোপারটিজে যেতে হবে। এখন Hardware থেকে Device Manager-এ ক্লিক করুন। CD/DVD ROM drives-এ ডাবল ক্লিক করুন। এখন সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভে মাউস রেখে ডান বাটনে ক্লিক করে Disable নির্বাচন করুন। একটি উইন্ডো আসবে তাতে Yes ক্লিক করে বেরিয়ে আসুন।
এখন দেখবেন সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভটি আর দেখা যাচ্ছে না এবং এটি আর কাজও করছে না। সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভটি আবার সক্রিয় করতে চাইলে একই পদ্ধতিতে Disable-এর পরিবর্তে Enable-এ ক্লিক করে বেরিয়ে আসুন। তখন দেখবেন সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভটি আবার দেখা যাচ্ছে এবং কাজও করছে। একইভাবে ফ্লপি ড্রাইভকেও নিষ্ক্রিয় করা যায়। এখন যেহেতু ফ্লপি ড্রাইভ আর ব্যবহূত হয় না, তাই ফ্লপি ড্রাইভকে নিষ্ক্রিয় করে রাখাই ভালো। সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভকে Uninstall করতে চাইলে একইভাবে Disable-এর পরিবর্তে Uninstall নির্বাচন করে ok করুন। Uninstall করলেও সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভ দেখা যায় না এবং কাজ করে না।
আবার install করতে চাইলে কম্পিউটার Restart দিন বা Control panel-এ গিয়ে Add Hardware-এ ডাবল ক্লিক করে Next বাটনে ক্লিক করুন। তারপর Finish দিয়ে বেরিয়ে আসুন। দেখবেন সিডি/ডিভিডি ড্রাইভটি আবার দেখা যাচ্ছে এবং কাজও করছে।

বর্তমানে পেনড্রাইভের মাধ্যমে ভাইরাস সবচেয়ে বেশী ছড়ায়। আর এর কারণ হচ্ছে, আমাদের কম্পিউটারের ড্রাইভ অটোপ্লে চালু থাকে ফলে পেনড্রাইভ ঢুকানোর সাথে সাথে ভাইরাস চালু হয়ে যায়। এ সমস্যা দূর করার(অটোপ্লে বন্ধ করার) নিয়ম নিচে দেয়া হলঃ-

* প্রথমে উইন্ডোজের স্টার্ট বাটন টিপে Run-এ যান এবং টাইপ করুনঃ  gpedit.msc  এবার  ok দিন।
* এবার Group Policy -এর উইন্ডোজ আসবে।
*  Group Policy -এর ডান/বাম পেন্ (ডানে এক ক্লিক আর বামে হলে দুই ক্লিক) থেকে নির্বাচন করুন যথাক্রমেঃ   Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System

* এবার ডান পেনে  Setting-এর নিচ থেকে ৬ নং Option-টিতে(Trun off Autoplay) ডাবল ক্লিক করুন।
* এবার Trun off Autoplay Properties আসবে।
*  Trun off Autoplay Properties-এ  Enable রেডিও বাটন সিলেক্ট করুন এবং নিচে Turn off Autoplay on: মেনু থেকে All drives সিলেক্ট করে, ok দিন।
* Group Policy- থেকে বের হয়ে কম্পিউটার  Restart দিন।

ব্যাস হয়ে গেল। এখন আর কোন ড্রাইভ Autoplay করবে না। সুতরাং, পেনড্রাইভ ঢুকালে ভাইরাস চালু হবে না। এখন আপনার প্রয়োজন মত Explore করে পেনড্রাইভের ভাইরাস নিজেই ডিলিট করুন এবং ভাইরাস মুক্ত থাকুন।

আমাদের বাংলাদেশী ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহারকারীদের মুখে যেই অনুযোগটি সবচেয়ে বেশী শোনা যায় তা হচ্ছে ইন্টারনেট স্পীডের বেহাল অবস্থা কথা। আমরা অনেকেই জানিনা যে জনপ্রিয় সাইটগুলোর ওয়েব ভার্শন এর পাশাপাশি মোবাইল/ওয়াপ ভার্শন ও থাকে। এই ওয়াপ ভার্শনগুলোর সাহায্যে ডায়ালআপ ইউজাররাও সহজেই ব্রাউজ করতে পারবেন। যেমন ধরুন, কম গতির ইন্টারনেট কানেকশনে www.cricinfo.com সাইটি লোড হতে অনেক সময় নেয়। অথচ এই সাইট এর মোবাইল ভার্শন m.cricinfo.com কম গতির ইন্টারনেট কানেকশনেও দারুন চলে। তেমনিভাবে www.facebook.com সাইট এর বদলে ব্যবহার করতে পারেন lite.facebook.com কিংবা m.facebook.com। ইন্টারনেট এর মাধ্যমে ফ্রী এসএমএস পাঠানোর জনপ্রিয় সাইট www.wadja.com এর সকল সুবিধাই পাবেন এর মোবাইল ভার্শন m.wadja.com এ।

এভাবে আপনি আপনার অন্যান্য প্রিয় সাইটগুলির মোবাইল/ওয়াপ সাইটগুলো ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। আপনারা অনেকেই হয়ত জানেন না এই সাইটের ও মোবাইল ভার্শন আছে যা আপনি মোবাইল ফোন থেকে প্রবেশ করলেই বুঝতে পারবেন। আমার নেট প্রায় সময়ই ঝামেলা করে। কালকে হয়ত স্পিড ভাল আবার আজকে খারাপ। তাই বলে কি আজকে প্রিয় সাইটগুলো ব্রাউজিং করা থেমে থাকবে? --কক্ষনই না!

Facebook এ Offline বন্ধুদের Chat History দেখার উপায়

Facebook এ আমরা সবাই কম বেশি চ্যাট করি। অনলাইন বন্ধুদের সাথের Chat History তো সহজেই দেখা যায়, তবে চাইলে অফলাইন বন্ধুদের সাথের Chat History ও আপনি দেখতে পাবেন। এজন্য যে বন্ধুর সাথের Chat History দেখতে চান তার Profile এ যান। তার User_ID নম্বর নোট করুন। এখন অবশ্য অনেক Profile এ User_ID দেখা যায়না। এমন হলে চিন্তার কিছু নেই। Profile এর Send Message বা Poke অপশনে গিয়ে Right Click চাপুন > Copy Link Location/Address দিন। এবার এটি নোটপ্যাডে Paste করুন, সেখান থেকে User_ID নম্বর পেয়ে যাবেন। এবার বন্ধুর Profile ওপেন করে Address Tab এ লিখুন:

এখানে User_ID এর জায়গায় সেই বন্ধুর User_ID হবে। এবার এন্টার চাপুন আর দেখুন। তবে Chat History যদি Clear করা হয়ে থাকে তাহলে তা আর দেখা যাবেনা।

সাইন আউট ছাড়াই ব্রাউজারের একই ট্যাবে পর্যায়ক্রমে একাধিক মেইল আইডি খুলুন!!

আমাদের অনেকেরই একাধিক মেইল আইডি আছে। এগুলো চেক করার জন্য আমরা বার বার সাইন ইন এবং সাইন আউট করি। ধরুন, আপনার ৫টি ইয়াহু আইডি আছে। এক্ষেত্রে আপনি ৫ বার সাইন ইন এবং ৫ বার সাইন আউট করে থাকেন। এই ঝামেলা হতে মুক্তি দিতে পারে মজিলা ফায়ারফক্সের WebMail Notifier। এই এডঅনটি আপনার মেইল সম্পর্কে নোটিফিকেশনও করবে। এই লিংক হতে এডঅনটি ইনস্টল করুন। এড করার পর আপনার মজিলা ফায়ারফক্সের ডানপাশে একেবারে নিচে নোটিফায়ারটি দেখতে পাবেন। নোটিফায়ারটির প্রেফারেন্সেস অপশন হতে আপনার আইডিগুলো এড করে নিন।

আর যেসকল আইডি এড করতে পারবেন তা নিচের চিত্র হতে দেখে নিন।

facebook এর security check থেকে নিন চিরমুক্তি

Internet ব্যবহার করেন অথচ facebook ব্যবহার করেন না এরকম মানুষ শতকরা হিসেবে খুব কম এবং দিনদিন আরো কমছে। facebook ব্যবহারকারীদের মধ্যে নতুন কারো সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করতে চাইলে আপনাকে friend request পাঠাতে হয়। আপনি যদি একজন মেয়ে অথবা কোনো তারকা হন তাহলে বেশিরভাগ সময় কাজটি থেকে আপনি বেচে যান। আর যদি ছেলে হন তাহলে বেশিরভাগ সময় কাজটি আপনাকেই করতে হয়। অর্থাৎ আপনাকেই friend request পাঠাতে হয়। একজন তারকা, মেয়ে, কিংবা ছেলে যা ই হন না কেন friend request পাঠাতে গেলে প্রতিবারই Security Check নামক একটি পরীক্ষায় আপনাকে পাশ করতে হয়। এটি কত বিরক্তিকর সেটি ভাল করেই আপনার জানা। আমার আজকের টিপস্ মাত্র ৪টি ধাপে ব্যাপারটি থেকে মুক্তি দিচ্ছে আপনাকে।

১। Security Check এর জন্য অস্পষ্ট letter বিশিষ্ট যে box টি থাকে তার ঠিক নীচে Verify your account এ click করুন।
২। 'Country Code' এ "Bangladesh (+880)" select করুন।
৩। 'Phone Number' box এ আপনার Mobile number টি প্রবেশ করান। Confirm এ click করুন  (কিছুক্ষনের মধ্যে আপনার Mobile এ একটি কোড চলে যাবে)।
৪। একটি নতুন page আসলো, সেখানে একটি কোড চাচ্ছে। এখানে আপনার Mobile এ facebook থেকে যে confirmation code টি গেল সেটি প্রবেশ করান। Confirm এ click করুন।
এখন থেকে আপনাকে Security Check নামক পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিতে হবে না।

আপনার Hotmail একাউন্ট থেকেই চেক করুন অন্যান্য একাউন্টের মেইল!

আপনার Hotmail এর একাউন্ট ব্যবহার করেই খুব সহজে আপনি Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, AOL mail সহ সব মেইল পড়তে এবং রিপ্লাই দিতে পারবেন। একবার সেটাপ করে দেওয়ার পর হটমেইলে লগিন করলেই আপনি সবগুলো একাউন্টের মেইল দেখতে পাবেন, এর জন্য প্রত্যেকটা একাউন্টে বারবার লগির করার দরকার হবে না। এটা কনফিগার করার জন্য প্রথমে আপনার হটমেইল একাউন্টে লগিন করুন। বাম পাশে Add an e-mail account এ ক্লিক করুন।

আপনার যে একাউন্টের মেইল দেখতে চান তার E-mail address এবং Password দিন। Next এ ক্লিক করুন।

বাই-ডিফল্ট একটা ফোল্ডার নেম দেখাবে। Save এ ক্লিক করুন।

এখন থেকে আপনি সেই ফোল্ডারটার অধীনে মেইলগুলো দেখতে পাবেন।

পুরনো পাসওয়ার্ড না জেনেই নিমেষের মধ্যে পাসওয়ার্ড পরিবর্তন করে ফেলুন!!

আপনি নিমেষের মধ্যেই আপনার কোন বন্ধুর বা অন্য কারোর লগিন করা পিসির পাসওয়ার্ড পরিবর্তন করে ফেলতে পারবেন পুরনো পাসওয়ার্ড সম্পর্কে কোন রকম তথ্য ছাড়াই।
এজন্য আপনাকে প্রথমে কমান্ড প্রম্পট খোলার জন্য Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt-এ গিয়ে ক্লিক করতে হবে অথবা, উইন্ডোজ+R চেপে Run এ গিয়ে CMD লিখে এন্টার দিন।





Command Prompt উইন্ডো ওপেন হবে।

এরপর C:\> প্রম্পটে গিয়ে net user username newpassword লিখে এন্টার দিন।


উদাহরন :- মনে করুন আপনার বন্ধুর ইউজারনেম Tanmoy, আর আপনি নতুন যে পাসওয়ার্ডে পরিবর্তন করতে চাচ্ছেন সেটি হল Baghaban তাহলে আপনাকে লিখতে হবে-
net user Tanmoy Baghaban
ব্যস হয়ে গেল।

এবার Command Prompt উইন্ডো বন্ধ করে চেক করে দেখুন আপনি আপনার বন্ধুর কম্পিঊটারের পাসওয়ার্ড সফলভাবে পরিবর্তন করতে পেরেছেন কিনা

cPanel এ Fantastico ব্যবহার করে Joomla ইনস্টল করুন খুব সহজে

সম্পূর্ন নাম Fantastico De Luxe হলে ও সবাই Fantastico নামেই চিনে একে। এটি cPanel এর জন্য মজার একটি PHP ভিত্তিক Web application। এটি cPanel এর নিজস্ব এপ্লিকেশন না হলেও সাধারনত বেশিরভাগ হোস্টিং প্রোভাইডারই cPanel এর সাথে এটি দিয়ে থাকেন। Fantastico ব্যবহার করে Joomla ইনস্টল করা খুবই সোজা। মাত্র কয়েকটা ক্লিকেই আপনি একটা Joomla সাইট তৈরী করে ফেলতে পারবেন(Joomla ছাড়া ও আরো অনেক Open Source Applications এর মাধ্যমে ইনস্টল করা সম্ভব)। সাধারনত Joomla ইনস্টল করতে গেলে এর সোর্স ফাইলগুলো ডাউনলোড করে নিজের সাইটে আপলোড করতে হয়। এরপরে ডাটাবেজ তৈরী করতে হয় যা নতুনদের জন্য অনেক সময় ঝামেলা হয়ে যায়। কিন্তু Fantastico ব্যবহার করলে এসব কিছুই করতে হয়না ফলে যে কেউ সহজেই কাজটা করে ফেলতে পারেন। চলুন দেখা যাক কিভাবে করতে হয়,

১. cPanel এ লগিন করুন।
২. স্ক্রল করে একটু নিচের দিকে গেলেই Software/Services এর অধীনে দেখবেন হাসিমুখে Fantastico De Luxe আপনার দিকে তাকিয়ে আছে।
৩. ক্লিক করলেই Fantastico চালু হবে। বামপাশে Fantastico দিয়ে যেসব Open Source Applications সেটাপ করা যায় তার তালিকা দেখতে পাবেন।
৪. Content Management এর অধীনে Joomla 1.5 এ ক্লিক করুন।
৫. জুমলার একটা ছোট-খাট বর্ননা দেখতে পাবেন। নিচের দিকে New Installation এ ক্লিক করুন।
৬. Install on domain এ আপনার মুল ডোমেইন সহ সাব-ডোমেইন(যদি থাকে) তা দেখাবে। আপনি যদি এটাকেই আপনার মূল সাইট করতে চান তাহলে এখানে কিছু করতে হবে না। আর সাব-ডোমেইনে ইনস্টল করতে চাইলে সাব-ডোমেইন সিলেক্ট করুন।
৭. ধরা যাক, আপনার ডোমেইন নেম হল www.abc.com। এখন আপনি যদি চান এড্রেসটা লিখলেই আপনার সাইট চালু হবে তাহলে Install in directory তে কিছু লিখতে হবেনা। কিন্তু আপনি যদি চান www.abc.com/web লিখলে সাইটটা চালু হবে তাহলে Install in directory তে web লিখুন।
৮. Admin access data এর অধীনে Administrator-username এর পাশের বক্সে admin লিখুন। এবং Password বক্সে আপনার ইচ্ছেমত পাসওয়ার্ড দিন। Joomla ইনস্টল হয়ে গেলে এর এডমিন প্যানেলে প্রবেশ করতে চাইলে এই ইউজারনেম ও পাসওয়ার্ড আপনার প্রয়োজন হবে।
৯. Base configuration এর অধীনে Admin e-mail এ আপনার ইমেইল এড্রেসটি দিন।
১০. Admin full name এ আপনার নাম দিন।
১১. Site name এ আপনার সাইটটি যে নামে দেখতে চান তা দিন। যেমন: Jewel's Homepage।
১২. Install Joomla 1.5 বাটনে ক্লিক করুন। কয়েক সেকেন্ডের মধ্যে Finish Installation বাটন দেখতে পাবেন। আপনার Joomla সাইট প্রস্তুত হয়ে গেল।

গুগলের নিজস্ব ই-বুক স্টোর চালু

আমাজন ও অ্যাপলের মতোই সম্প্রতি গুগল নিজস্ব ই-বুক স্টোর চালু করেছে। গুগল এডিশনস নামের এ ই-বুক স্টোরে বিনামূল্যে লক্ষাধিক বই নামানো যাবে। তবে গুগলের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, শুরুতে এ সেবা পাওয়া যাবে শুধু যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে এবং আগামী মাস থেকে সারা বিশ্বের পাঠকেরা বই নামাতে পারবেন। এ ই-বুক স্টোরের বই যেকোনো ই-বুক রিডার, কম্পিউটার কিংবা স্মার্টফোনে নামিয়ে পড়া যাবে। ‘রিড অ্যানিহোয়ার’ স্লোগানে চালু হওয়া গুগল এশিনস থেকে ই-বুক পড়া যাবে খুব সহজেই। পাশাপাশি গুগলের অনলাইন ঠিকানার মাধ্যমে তৈরি করা যাবে নিজের পছন্দ অনুযায়ী ভার্চুয়াল লাইব্রেরি।
তবে প্রতিযোগিতার বর্তমান বাজারে গুগলের নতুন এ ই-বুক স্টোর কতটা সফলতা পাবে, সেটাই এখন দেখার বিষয় বলে মনে করছেন বিশেষজ্ঞরা। ইতিমধ্যে ই-বুক বাজারে দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ বাজার শেয়ার রয়েছে আমাজনের এবং আমাজনের ই-বুক রিডার আমাজন কিন্ডল ব্যবহারকারীরা আমাজনের সাইট থেকেই বই নামিয়ে পড়েন। তবে ইতিমধ্যে গুগল তাদের ই-বুক স্টোরে প্রায় ১৫ কোটি বই যুক্ত করেছে বলে জানা গেছে। প্রযুক্তির সুবিধা বাড়ার পাশাপাশি বর্তমানে ই-বুকের বাজারও ধীরে ধীরে বাড়ছে। গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠান ফরেস্টার রিসার্চের মতে, বর্তমানে সারা বিশ্বে বছরে প্রায় ৯৬ কোটি ছয় লাখ টাকার ই-বুক বিক্রি হচ্ছে। আর তাই ই-বুকের এ বাজারে বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠান এগিয়ে আসছে

নতুন ইউএসবি পেনড্রাইভ

এ-ডেটা ব্র্যান্ডের সি০০৮ মডেলের ক্যাপলেস ডিজাইনের ইউএসবি পেনড্রাইভ বাজারে নিয়ে এসেছে গ্লোবাল ব্র্যান্ড (প্রা.) লিমিটেড। এতে রয়েছে স্মার্ট ‘স্লাইডিং বাটন’, যা আঙুল দিয়ে চাপ দিয়ে পেনড্রাইভের ইউএসবি কানেক্টরটিকে খোলসের মধ্যে ঢুকিয়ে সুরক্ষিত রাখা যায়। রঙিন এবং আকর্ষণীয় ডিজাইনের এই পেনড্রাইভটি চাবির রিং, মোবাইল ফোন বা হাত ব্যাগের সঙ্গে রাখা যাবে। ইউএসবি ২.০ ইন্টারফেসের এই পেনড্রাইভ স্ক্র্যাচ-প্রুফ এবং ডাস্ট-প্রুফ। বর্তমানে এই মডেলের ৪ গিগাবাইট, ৮ গিগাবাইট, ১৬ গিগাবাইট এবং ৩২ গিগাবাইট পেনড্রাইভ পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। দাম যথাক্রমে ৬০০ টাকা, এক হাজার ৫০ টাকা, দুই হাজার ১০০ টাকা এবং চার হাজার টাকা

ফেসবুকে যুক্ত হয়েছে নতুন সুবিধা

সামাজিক যোগাযোগের জনপ্রিয় ওয়েবসাইট ফেসবুকে যুক্ত হয়েছে ছবির নতুন একটি বৈশিষ্ট্য। প্রায় ৫০ কোটি ব্যবহারকারীর নিজেদের মধ্যে ছবি আদান-প্রদানসহ সামজিক বিষয়গুলো আরও সহজ করতেই এ উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে ফেসবুক কর্তৃপক্ষ। নিজের সম্পর্কে, নিজের কাজ আর চিন্তাভাবনার বড় একটি বিষয় ফুটিয়ে তোলা যায় ছবির মাধ্যমে। তাই বন্ধুদের মধ্যে ছবির মাধ্যমে যোগাযোগের বিষয়টি গুরুত্ব দিয়েই এ বৈশিষ্ট্য যুক্ত হয়েছে।
নতুন এ সুবিধার ফলে ফেসবুকে বায়োগ্রাফি নামে একটি সুবিধা থাকছে, যার মাধ্যমে অনেক বন্ধুর ভিড়ে প্রিয় বন্ধুর সর্বশেষ ছবিটি দেখতে পারবেন খুব সহজেই। আগে যেকোনো ছবিতে বন্ধুদের পেতে হলে আলাদাভাবে ট্যাগ করতে হতো, যা এখন এ সুবিধার মাধ্যমেই প্রিয় বন্ধুদের পাওয়া যাবে ট্যাগ-সুবিধা ছাড়াই। ফেসবুকের প্রধান নির্বাহী মার্ক জুকারবার্গের মতে, নতুন এ সুবিধার ফলে খুব সহজেই প্রিয় বন্ধুদের ছবির সঙ্গে যুক্ত হওয়া যাবে। এটা এমন একটা সুবিধা, যার মাধ্যমে শুধু ছবিই নয়, প্রিয় ব্যক্তির সম্পর্কে অনেক কিছুই খুব সহজেই জানা যাবে।
নতুন এ সুবিধাটি চালুর ফলে ফেসবুক সার্চ ইঞ্জিন গুগলের সঙ্গে আরেকটি বিষয়ে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা শুরু করল। গুগলের ছবি দেখার সফটওয়্যার পিকাসার মাধ্যমে যে সুবিধা পাওয়া যায়, প্রায় একই ধরনের সুবিধাও ফেসবুকের এ বৈশিষ্ট্যের মাধ্যমে পাওয়া যাবে বলে মনে করছে ফেসবুক কর্তৃপক্ষ। পাশাপাশি ওয়াল পোস্ট, লিংকস ও ছবি পোস্টের ব্যাপারটি নতুনভাবে হওয়ায় ব্যবহারকারীরা বুঝতে পারবে ফেসবুকের মাধ্যমে কীভাবে বন্ধুদের আরও কাছাকাছি থাকা যাচ্ছে। এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত সি ফ্রেন্ডশিপের মাধ্যমেও এক নজরেই জানা যাবে বন্ধুর সব খবর।
